It’s time to feel safe, seen, and understood—and bring emotional peace back into your life and home.

You might be here because you’re tired of holding everything in, feeling on edge at home, or feeling weighed down by old wounds that still hurt. Maybe you’re worried about your teen, grieving a loss, or noticing that anxiety and family stress are starting to affect your sleep, mood, or relationships. Deep down, you just want to feel safer inside and more at peace in your own life and home.

You can find the peace you seek.

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is holistic and integrative, considering the psychological, biological, social, and spiritual aspects of each person.

Healing involves nurturing the mind, body, and soul together.

In our sessions, you can expect a calm, steady space where you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out. I’ll move at your pace, ask gentle but thoughtful questions, and help you name what you’re feeling, understand where it comes from, and practice simple coping strategies you can use in real life.

My style is warm, structured, and collaborative. I work especially well with teens, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, family conflict, grief, or long-standing emotional pain.

I bring 30+ years as a healthcare professional and my own lived experience of healing from an abusive, emotionally unsafe environment, which allows me to sit with hard stories without judgment or shock. If faith is important to you, I’m comfortable weaving in a faith-sensitive perspective in a way that feels respectful and safe. Above all, you can expect to be treated with dignity, honesty, and compassion as we work toward more emotional peace in your life and home.

Clients describe me as warm, calm, and genuinely caring, someone who really listens, doesn’t rush, and doesn’t make them feel judged or “too much.” I’m thoughtful and gentle, but also honest and clear. I’ll sit with your story, help you make sense of it, and support you in taking small, practical steps toward more peace, stability, and hope in your life and home.

how do you know if I’m the right fit for you?

You’ve tried being “strong,” pushing things down, reading self-help posts, and telling yourself it’s not that bad—

but the pain and stress keep showing up in your body, your emotions, and your relationships. You don’t need more pressure to fix yourself; you need a safe, steady place to be honest and start healing.

You are a First Responder or Medical Professional experiencing burnout from having seen and experienced things that are weighing you down..

With 30+ years as a healthcare professional and through my own lived experience of healing from an abusive and emotionally unsafe environment, I understand trauma not just from a textbook, but from the inside out. I also understand how emotional pain can show up as physical symptoms, exhaustion, and burnout—especially for those who are always caring for everyone else.

You’ve grown up in an unsafe or emotionally neglectful environment…

and it has shaped how you see yourself, others, and the world. In this work, we gently unpack your story at your pace, help you understand how trauma is affecting you today, and build tools for safety, boundaries, and self-worth.

The Clients I work with….

  • Adolescence and young adulthood are already challenging—adding trauma, grief, identity struggles, or family conflict can feel overwhelming. With teens and young adults, I focus on building trust first, then helping them name their feelings, process what they’ve been through, and develop practical coping skills they can use at home, school, and in relationships.

  • For clients who desire it, we can thoughtfully integrate faith into the counseling process. This might include prayer, Scripture, or exploring hard questions about God, suffering, and hope—all at a pace and depth that feels respectful and safe for you. My goal is never to pressure, but to support you in aligning your healing journey with your beliefs and values.
