You may be here because you’re tired of repeating relationship patterns rooted in childhood trauma, emotionally unavailable parents, or an absent or inconsistent parent. Even after trying to move forward, you may notice old attachment wounds showing up in your dating patterns, parenting style, or the way you view yourself.

Whether you’re exploring life with less alcohol, healing the impact of emotionally unavailable parents, working through childhood wounds, or learning to create healthier relational patterns, I’m here to support you with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment.

Healing Begins With Understanding

Therapy becomes transformative when we understand not just what we feel, but why we feel it. Insight creates the foundation for lasting change and helps untangle the patterns shaped by early experiences.

Emotional Clarity Is Possible

Even if you’ve spent years feeling disconnected, confused, or overwhelmed by your emotions, clarity can grow through steady, compassionate therapeutic work. Together, we make sense of what you’re feeling and why.

You’re ready to break these generational cycles and finally create relationships that feel emotionally safe, clear, and grounded.

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that repairing ruptures, healing attachment wounds, and exploring generational patterns allows you to break cycles and build the life you can live to the fullest.

Hi, I’m Jessica, a counselor in training who helps individuals and families heal the places where connection broke down. I specialize in working with people who are sober-curious, adult children of alcoholic or emotionally unavailable parents, young adults with absent fathers, and women who repeatedly choose emotionally unavailable partners. My goal is to help clients understand how these early relationship patterns formed and how to break the cycles that keep them stuck.

I support adult former teen parents who want to repair and rebuild their relationships with their children. Many parents carrying old stress, shame, or unresolved patterns want a second chance at connection, and I help families navigate that healing process with compassion, clarity, and emotional safety.

My approach focuses on repairing ruptures, healing attachment wounds, and exploring generational patterns. Together, we look at what happened in your past, how those experiences show up in your current relationships, and what new patterns can be built moving forward.

I work with clients who are looking for a compassionate, structured space to understand how their childhood experiences, family-of-origin dynamics, and attachment injuries continue to influence their adult relationships. In therapy, we explore the stories you’ve carried from growing up with emotionally unavailable or alcoholic parents, navigating father wounds, or choosing partners who replicate early relational patterns. My process helps you identify where these cycles began, understand their emotional impact, and develop healthier, more secure ways of relating.

You can expect sessions that focus on clarity, emotional regulation, and deep insight — helping you recognize the patterns you’ve inherited and the ones you’re ready to change. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can develop healthier ways of relating that feel grounded, secure, and authentic.

I support adults in Texas who want to heal attachment trauma, explore a sober-curious lifestyle, rebuild strained parent-child relationships, or finally stop feeling stuck in relational loops.

Together, we work toward creating new patterns rooted in security, confidence, and genuine emotional connection.

how do you know if I’m the right fit for you? Here’s why i get the patterns you are trying to change

You want to change patterns from having emotionally immature or unavailable parents….

You’ve tried to outgrow the patterns that started in childhood — the ones shaped by emotionally unavailable parents, inconsistent fathers, or family dynamics that never felt stable — but they keep resurfacing. You may understand the symptoms, but no one has helped you understand the root. What sets me apart is that I work specifically with attachment wounds, childhood trauma, and generational cycles, not just surface-level coping strategies. I help you explore the deeper emotional experiences that have shaped your relationships, not just the behaviors that show up now.

Relational wounds keep you from feeling secure in your romantic relationships, friendships or parenting style…

The Past Shapes Us, But It Doesn’t Have to Define Us

Your early relationship wounds — including emotionally unavailable parents, absent fathers, or chaotic childhood environments — influence how you relate today. But these patterns can be recognized, healed, and intentionally rewritten.

You are ready to break cycles, from family of origin to generational patterns

Doing the inner work your family never had space or support to do is courageous. By addressing generational patterns, you create new possibilities for yourself and for the generations that follow..

You Are Not Broken — You Adapted

Your coping strategies and relational patterns were formed in environments where they made sense for your survival. Therapy helps shift you from old adaptations into healthier, authentic connection.

Healing Requires Partnership, Not Perfection

You don’t need to know where to start. You don’t have to come in with all the answers. We approach this work together with curiosity, compassion, and a pace that feels safe for your nervous system..
